Rodrigo Garcia Dutra (Rio de Janeiro, 1981) is a visual artist and researcher with an MFA from Central Saint Martins and an MA from the Royal College of Art (London). His career highlights include exhibitions at renowned institutions such as White Cube, South London Gallery, and the Tomie Ohtake Institute, alongside three nominations for the PIPA Prize. Dutra’s work is held in prestigious public collections, including the MASP, MAR, the National Museum of the Republic (Brasília), and the British Government Art Collection. He was a resident artist at Air351 (Portugal) with a grant from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. Integrating ancestral cosmologies with artificial intelligence, his practice explores “sensitive geometry” and the evolution of form through time and space.
Rodrigo Garcia Dutra (Rio de Janeiro, 1981) é um artista e pesquisador com sólida formação internacional, mestre pela Central Saint Martins e pelo Royal College of Art (Londres). Sua trajetória destaca-se por exposições em instituições de prestígio como a White Cube, South London Gallery e o Instituto Tomie Ohtake, além de ter sido indicado três vezes ao Prêmio PIPA. Foi artista residente na Air351 (Portugal), com bolsa de criação da Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian. Com obras em acervos fundamentais como o MASP, MAR, Museu Nacional da República e a British Government Art Collection, sua prática investiga geometrias sensíveis e cosmologias, integrando saberes ancestrais à inteligência artificial.
